The borough of Lewisham in South East London has won the Borough of Culture status for next year and there are a load of reasons why.
The borough, which is made up of places like Forest Hill, Brockley, New Cross, Catford and Lewisham itself, boasts some amazing cultural features, from museums to an eclectic music scene to some incredible independent cinemas.
The borough will receive the title in 2021 along with £1.35m in prize money to make some exciting changes.
In Lewisham's bid it promised to "inspire local people to take action on climate change".
Here are just a few reasons why Lewisham deserves the title.
1. Lewisham has one of the last ballrooms in the country
It's based in Brockley.
The Rivoli Ballroom is a grade II listed building and is one of the last ballrooms left in the country.
Some Strictly Come Dancing episodes have been filmed there.
2. There's an incredible ancient stone circle
The Hilly Fields Stone Circle is made up of 12 granite boulders from Mount Struie close to Scotsburn that are around 400 million years old.
But then the actual circle is quite new as it was created for the millennium.
3. It has a rich history
There was a big street battle in Lewisham back in the 1970s.
The year 1977 saw 500 people from far-right part the National Front try to march from New Cross to Lewisham itself but around 4,000 people against the party started demonstrations, causing clashes between them and NF members as well as the police.
A huge 5,000 police officers were there, with 56 of them getting hurt. Meanwhile 214 people were arrested.
4. Sydney has a place called Lewisham too
Are there any similarities?
Sydney's Lewisham was named in 1834, after the Joshua Frey Josephson estate. Joshua was a businessman and judge who decided to name the area after the South East London borough.
5. There's quite a few famous people from Lewisham
Celebrities from the borough include Louise Redknapp, Jude Law, Gary Oldman, Sid Vicious and Alexander McQueen.
6. Lewisham boasts the amazing Catford Cat
Yes the cat of Catford does exist.
It's an incredible fibreglass sculpture that sits above the way in to the Catford Centre.

It was founded by Frederick Horniman, a rich Victorian tea trader.
