Overview of Mountaineer Lodge

The Mountaineer Lodge, centrally located in the village of Lake Louise, Alberta, provides year-round convenient comfort to visitors of the majestic Canadian Rockies. The Mountaineer Lodge consists of two buildings that house the 80 guest rooms and suites: the Main Lodge and the Timber Building. The buildings are surrounded by pine forests and breathtaking Rocky Mountain Views. The guest rooms and suites have seen many recent upgrades to ensure a satisfying stay for guests. All rooms offer flat-screen televisions, wireless internet, microwaves, and mini-fridges. Guest rooms can sleep a maximum of two to four people. Suites offer additional space with a separate sitting area with a fireplace and can sleep up to six people. Both the Main Lodge and the Timber Building are comprised of two floors. There is no elevator access to the second floor. Air conditioning is available in select guest rooms and suites.

The hotel lobby in the Main Lodge building gives an authentic lodge feel with its grand ceilings, wood interiors, and local wildlife mounts. Adjacent to the hotel lobby is the lobby lounge which provides a relaxing atmosphere for guests to read or talk while sipping on the complimentary coffee. Other amenities at the lodge include free parking, complimentary WiFi, 24-hour laundry facilities, vending machines, ski storage, ski waxing room, and ski shuttle service. Staff can also assist with activity planning, transportation bookings, and local dining recommendations. Local restaurants and shops are a mere short stroll away.
