14-year-old girl injured after being hit by car in Hartford
A 14-year-old girl was hit by a car in Hartford Tuesday afternoon, according to firefighters. Firefighters said the accident happened at 111 Hillside Ave., in front of McDonough Middle School. The girl was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Firefighters said the driver stayed on scene and police are still investigating.
