Cara Turnbow '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cara Turnbow. I started playing soccer as a defender 7 years ago in 6th grade. Over the years I have also played 10+ seasons of indoor soccer in the off-season. Throughout the seasons, both indoor and outdoor, I have played wing, outside back, and center back. However, my strongest and the most common position I play in is outside back. In my 8th grade year of middle school, I was able to play up and made it on the JV team for EC Glass, unfortunately, due to COVID-19, that season got cut short. In both my freshman and sophomore years at EC Glass, I played on the varsity team. I was a starter as an outside back for the team in the 2022 season, my sophomore year. Going into the 2023 season, I was chosen to be a team captain by my teammates. I made it onto the Central Virginia United Soccer Club of Lynchburg Virginia as I started my senior year of high school.
