Newark Library has closed following the third national lockdown.
The library, off Beaumond Gardens, has closed in line with other Inspire Nottinghamshire Libraries and Archives.
A spokesman for Inspire Culture and Nottinghamshire County Council said it was committed to the wellbeing of staff and customers during the current coronavirus pandemic.
It will be closed until further notice.
Book return dates have been extended during the closure and overdue charges will not apply.
Reservations can be made and will be processed ready for when it reopens.
Computers are also available for essential access to public services such as job applications and benefit claims with pre-booked appointments.
