You are invited to join us at New Life. I don’t know what your church experience has been like in the past. Maybe it’s been a minute since you’ve been in a church building. Maybe you’ve been hurt or have just drifted from faith. It’s ok, we’ve all been there. Here is what I know is true. God is a God of second chances. We are not a perfect church and don’t pretend to be, but there is a place for you to experience God afresh here. It doesn’t matter what you wear or what you’ve done… just come as you are. We really mean that. You are welcome and wanted here. I believe God’s heart is for you and that he has been pursuing you. We would love to have you at New Life.

THE FORCES THAT CONTROL ME

We are not as autonomous as we would like to believe. There are cultural expectations, words spoken over us as children, and lies we believe that are always seeking to control our lives. Following Christ means identifying these forces that control us and submitting them to His Lordship because His ultimate goal for us is that we would be free. Each week we will look at a different encounter with Jesus in the Gospels as we head towards the cross and resurrection on Easter Sunday.
