Ravi Shankar spoke to ISRO chief before Chandrayaan 3 landing | Here’s what they talked about
Ravi Shankar remarked on the achievement of conducting a successful exploration in a brief timeframe and with a modest budget.

New Delhi: Even after several days since the successful touchdown of Chandrayaan 3, it continues to remain a hot topic of discussion among all. Spiritual leader and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar recently joined the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) fan club and showered praises on its historic moon mission.
The 67-year-old yoga guru also revealed that he spoke to ISRO chief S Somanath a day before the lunar landing. During their conversation, Ravi Shankar assured him that everything would proceed smoothly. He conveyed to Somanath that all of their prayers were directed towards him and the success of this mission.
Commenting on the triumphant touchdown of Chandrayaan 3, Ravi Shankar expressed that it’s a source of pride not only for India but for all of humanity. He remarked on the achievement of conducting a successful exploration in a brief timeframe and with a modest budget.

Ravi Shankar highlighted the significant role of ‘women power’ in the endeavor. Referring to the soft landing as an emotional moment, he added that the Moon has been reached and visuals are already being received.
Ravi Shankar further stated that the upcoming Aditya L-1 mission by ISRO will also turn out to be a success.
Solar mission
On Monday, ISRO announced that India’s inaugural solar mission Aditya-L1 – aimed at studying the Sun – is scheduled for launch on September 2nd at 11.50 AM from the spaceport in Sriharikota. It will be launched using a PSLV-C57 rocket.

The Aditya-L1 spacecraft has been crafted to offer remote observations of the solar corona and conduct in-situ observations of the solar wind at the L1 point (Sun-Earth Lagrange point), located approximately 1.5 million kilometers away from Earth.

Aditya-L1 is a completely indigenous endeavor that involves collaboration with national institutions.
