Video of Jay Z singing along to Beyoncé performance goes viral – watch

The rapper was in the crowd for his wife's set at Made In America Festival

A video has emerged online of Jay-Z singing along in the crowd while his wife Beyonce performs live.

Beyoncé made her live return over the weekend with a headline set at the Made In America Festival. The festival, which is founded and curated Jay Z, took place in Philadelphia on Saturday (September 5) and Sunday.

Jay Z was in the crowd during the singer’s set, hiding behind a hood to hide his identity. However, a clip has gone viral after a fan captured footage of the rapper singing along to Beyoncé’s lyrics.

Beyoncé played songs spanning her entire career including ‘Crazy In Love’, ‘Run The World (Girls)’, ‘Drunk In Love’ and ‘Halo’. The singer also used monologues from notable female figures including Maya Angelou, the celebrated author and poet who died last year, and MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, who is the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.

Elsewhere during the set, Beyoncé played several Destiny’s Child songs including ‘Say My Name’, ‘Jumpin’, Jumpin” and ‘Survivor’. Referencing her former bandmates, she announced to the crowd: “Shout-out to my girl Kelly, I love you. My girl Michelle, I love you. If you survived bad relationships, if you survived illnesses. When it gets tough, that’s when you work harder.”
