Getting Involved

We’re at the heart of our community,  touching the lives of many people as patients, visitors, members, fundraisers, volunteers and staff.  We’d love you to get involved, and there are many ways you can support us, including:

Annual Staff Awards

We invite our patients to nominate the staff member or team who has made a difference to them in our annual Staff Awards – find out more.

Patient feedback

If you have received care or treatment recently, we would like to hear from you. Giving your feedback on the quality of care you have received helps us to identify what we’re doing well, address concerns and make services better for other patients.

You can submit feedback online

Volunteer with us

Volunteering can make a real difference in your own life and to the lives of our patients and their families, as well as the working lives of our staff. We have many different roles, depending on the life skills you bring to the role, from giving companionship to patients in hospital or supporting people as they settle back at home. Whatever you have to offer, we can find a role that will support our patients and make you feel part of our volunteer community.

Hospitals Charity and fundraising

Thanks to donations, fundraising and legacies, the N&N Hospitals Charity is able to support even better care at our hospitals.

This is done through providing resources over and above what the NHS must and should fund.

This includes funding for innovation and research, development and wellbeing support for Trust staff, additional medical equipment, improvements to the hospital environment and additional resources for patients.

For more information, contact [email protected] or visit our website www.nnhospitalscharity.org.uk.

Get more Involved

Working in partnership with patients, service users and Carers helps put people who use our hospital at the heart of service development and improvements.

We have lots of ways for you to get more involved. There will be a role for you whether you are a patient, a Carer, a veteran or someone who just wants to help us improve our services. Our Patient Panel members work with staff on a number of projects which make a difference right across our hospitals. We also work with local patient representatives such as the Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership.
