And the top was brass and the bottom was iron, right? so this side is brass and we'll make iron blue.

And there was a circuit, right? and the circuit kind of, like there was one wire like this and one wire like this, and then they came down to a buzzer or something, right? so the question is basically which way, when you heat this thing up, which way is the metal going to bend? and the answer is because brass has a higher coefficient of linear expansion, the brass is going to expand more than the iron, right? and so since these two things are stuck together, the brass is going to expand a big distance, but the iron is going to expand a smaller distance, right? and so there's a difference in distance.
