Preschool Activities: Word Search Printable

Todays post is a bit of an expansion on yesterdays Introduction to spelling packet. I wanted to take it just a bit further, and work on word matching. So I assembled a deconstructed version of a word search, something a preschooler could do.

{Preschool Activities: Word Search Printable}

It is super simple. Using the same words and featuring the same photos as the Introduction to spelling packet, your child simply finds as many “suns” as he/she can. Each card features two options.

1. The word they are suppose to locate
2. An incorrect word.

This printable is a really great exercise to introduce new words, and a beginning reading concept!

Your child can mark the correct word however they’d like. Circle, scribble over it, color in the circle next to it, crossing it out, etc. You can download the word search packet HERE.
