MusiKaravan at the Egyptian Theatre

February 5, 2025

The Coos County Community Center Association is proud to present MusiKaravan at the Egyptian Theatre. Often referred to as a fun, imaginative "musical picnic", MusiKaravan was developed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic closing music venues. Violinist Etienne Garam and YeEun Kim took to the road on a 6-month trip in their 1971 VW bus to bring music to farmers, winemakers and random passerby to celebrate and thank the people who were "working hard to feed us physically and emotionally". Alongside cellist Stella Cho, MusiKaravan presents classical favorites in inviting ways.

Tickets for the performance are available through the Coos History Museum or buy them online here using PayPal. Cost for a season ticket is $99 for adults and $49 for students. Individual concert performances are $39 for adults and $19 for students. Please feel free to call Jay Farr at 541-297-4008 or Eva Shimotakahara at 541-297-1363 at anytime to ask questions

Pigs on the Wing: Echoes of Pink Floyd Tour

April 25, 2025

As before, the Echoes of Pink Floyd tour will feature a new selection of the very best of classic-era Pink Floyd cuts organized into 2 distinct sets. Rather than performing a single album from start to end, expect to hear the band focus on their favorite sections of the classic albums, including hits, deep cuts, and the band’s trademark willingness to explore the sonic space in experimental improvisation. Show is Friday, April 25 with doors opening at 7:00 pm, show starts at 8:00 pm. Get your tickets here
