River Cats Recognized as Top Triple-A Organization
December 18, 2024 - WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats, proud Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have been named the top Triple-A organization in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) as winner of the prestigious 2024 Bob Freitas Award by Baseball America. This is the second time that the River Cats have earned the accolade, first receiving the distinction following the 2004 season. Raftery Returns to Reno as the Aces' New Chief Revenue Officer
December 18, 2024 - RENO, Nev. - After three years working on the East Coast, Doug Raftery is returning to the Biggest Little City as the Reno Aces' new Chief Revenue Officer, as announced by the club on Tuesday. Raftery rejoins the Aces organization after serving as Executive Business Officer for the USL Championship Club Loudoun Union FC. November 20, 2024 - TACOMA, WA - Long-time radio broadcaster for the Tacoma Rainiers, Mike Curto, has announced he is retiring at the end of the 2024 calendar year. Curto was the voice of the Rainiers for 26 years (25 seasons) after being hired in 1999 and was a minor league broadcaster for 31 years in all.
