School ProgramEDUCATION AIDE - Part Time

The interpretation office at Columbia State Historic Park is looking for Education Aides to join the park team to support 4th grade school programs. 

The Education Intern works alongside the interpretive staff to deliver 4th grade interpretive programs to visiting schools at Columbia State Historic Park. Duties include leading interpretive student tours within the park, participating in living history activities, researching relevant historical information, assisting in special events, and completing assigned projects.

General Info:

  • Starting pay $16.87 per hour
  • 1-3 days a week 
  • 4 hour shifts per day ok
  • Average 8-16 hours per week

Applicants must:

  • be able to work weekdays Tue, Wed, Thur
  • enjoy working with kids
  • be comoftable as a public speaker
  • ability to follow directions
  • learn work procedures and park rules

Physical work can include working outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
