Based on Bea Alonzo's photos during her trip to Germany for A Love To Last, it might seem like a long working vacation.
During the show's press conference held recently, the actress revealed that she, Ian, and the rest of the staff had very limited time to shoot the necessary scenes for ABS-CBN's newest pimetime series.
“We had to go back after the shoot kasi we had the trade launch.
“We had to shoot right away kasi 'yon ang ipapalabas sa trade launch,” Bea told reporters.
She said they had no chance to do sidetrips in Germany.
Bea admitted, “Actually, it didn't feel like work, para sa akin.
“I mean, it was hard kasi sa weather, konting tulog.
“But parang mas nangingibabaw 'yong happy memories more than the hirap na pinagdaanan namin sa Germany.
“That says a lot about working with these people.”
Bea mentioned in a separate interview that she enjoys the company of her co-stars in her new teleserye.
In fact, she considered this as one of the things that keeps her motivated at work.
“Ako kasi, in every project, naghahanap ako ng isang bagay na something to look forward whenever I go to work.
“Masasabi ko na 'yong mga nakakatrabaho ko, I look forward to seeing them, working with them, and make kwento with them.”
INTIMATE SCENES. Since Bea and Ian are paired for the first time in the romantic series A Love To Last, the two lead stars were asked if they will have love scenes in the show.
“Hindi pa natin alam,” she replied.
“Pero parang based sa trailer, sana maging ganun hanggang end ng soap namin.
“Parang hindi naman kailangan ng mga love scenes.”
For his part, Ian said it wouldn't be a problem if they're required to do intimate scenes.
“Napaka-professional namin pagdating sa eksena, when it comes to our work.
“I mean, 'yong kulitan namin nandiyan palagi.
“Pero kapag yung seryosong eksena or love scene na, I think we're very supportive of each other naman.
“I'll make sure hindi siya mapi-feel awkward.”
Suddenly, Ian turned to Bea and said in jest, “Pwede bang alagaan mo ako kapag nagka-kissing scene tayo?
“I don't wanna feel violated, e.”
The actress responded by saying with a big smile, “Sige, ako na ang mag-aalaga sa 'yo.”
Bea turned serious as she pointed out, “Tama si Papa I, professional kaming pareho, so if it's needed we'll do it.”
A Love to Last will air its pilot episode on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida tonight, January 9.
