All you need is a men’s tie, folded and secured with a rubber band and safety pin🧷. Then take a chain or ribbon to slip through the top and secure around the neck. If you don’t have a tie handy, you can get them at the thrift store for less than $5 ( I have mine dry cleaned). The brooch is optional but I think it adds a nice touch, and in this case a bit of bling 💎 The entire thing takes 5 minutes to complete and the look is super chic. @bengelaholmes has a detailed tutorial on her page for this and many other styling hacks. Super simple. We're starting with two neckties. Two neckties and a safety pin. So the first thing we do place our neck ties on. Opposite sides. Whatever side you choose, you want one side to be a little bit longer than the other and that'll come into play when you're making your your bow. So, you see how that side is just a tad longer than this side. So, I have it where I want it. I'm going to take it off and I'm going to add a safety pin right where it was in the back. Put it back on. One side longer than the other. Little bit. Yes. Get the skinny parts out the way. We don't need them right now.
