I took... | By Farmhouseish | All it took was somebody telling me that it was such a shame you couldn't see through our door and into the laundry room and off the hinges the store went. I drew a four and a/ 2 inch border around the edges to jigsaw out then added this cute little half inch cove molding to one side. I secured that into place and then cut down this quarter inch thick sheet of acrylic to fit inside the frame and I added the same trim on the back to secure the acrylic into place. I painted it tricorn black by Sherwin Williams, added some vinyl tape for a little detailing, the handle, and then reinstalled the door and what a transformation. I love how this looks in this space. Now show of hands. Who is eyeing those hollow doors in your own homes? Time for a transformation?
