Sonic the Hedgehog CD was released for the Mega-CD in Japan, #OnThisDay in 1993. BITD the launch price of the Mega-CD meant I'd given up hope of playing Sonic CD even before it's EU release. I got to play it a few years later when it had a PC release, but by then I was playing games like Quake and Duke Nukem 3D, so Sonic CD didn't hold my attention for long. I did save the .mpg intro to my hard drive tho cos I loved the NA 'Sonic Boom' intro so much!
