My go-to stain combo that works every time- One thing I do before even getting started on staining: sand the wood I’m working on. Sanding is a key step you do not want to miss, as it helps remove the yellow layer that is in a lot of woods. I start with 120/150 grit and then move to 220 so it gets nice & smooth! By using white wash, it helps to mute the undertones so you don’t get dark grain. So tell me, do you like the dark grain or are you going to try white wash to help mute them? #woodstain #stainingtips #diyprojects #homediy" Varathane Stain Colors On Oak, White Wash On Pine Wood, Antique White Stain On Pine, Light Stain Over Dark Stain, White Wash And Stain Wood, Wood Stain Combinations, White Wash Pickling Stain Wood, Verathane Stains, White Wash Over Stained Wood
