To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of World War II’s D-Day landings, the Royal Air Force have specially-painted a Typhoon FGR4 belonging to 29(R) Squadron with D-Day invasion stripes at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The aircraft represents a Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib MN526/TP-V of 198 Squadron, July 1944.
