TH Parry Williams, Welsh author, poet and academic. Wrote one of my favourite poems 'Hon' ('This') which questions the relevance of Welsh culture. 'Hon' includes two of the best lines in Welsh poetry, if you ask me. "Ac mi glywaf grafangau Cymru’n dirdynnu fy mron. Duw a’m gwaredo, ni allaf ddianc rhag hon." / "And I hear Wales’ claws beating on my chest. God help me, I cannot escape from this."
