Great Pet Adoption Ads

If negative/tragic messaging drive new adopters away from pet adoption, what works? Amusing them, inspiring them, inviting them, charming them. Even if a pet has a sad backstory or a special need, let the pet's personality shine through, let the point of the sad story be to inspire people, and you'll capture their interest. Traumatize your potential adopters and you poison the well not just for that pet, but for shelter adoption in general.
