I like to have all my students, including the pros, focus on completing the hip turn on the backswing and rotating to impact. Here’s a quick drill you can do at home to feel this. Get off your recliner and practice sinking your trail leg into the cushion on the backswing, and your lead leg into the cushion at impact.
