Luray Caverns - What will you discover?
Not only history buffs will enjoy an immersion into early Shenandoah culture at the Luray Valley Museum located next to Luray Caverns. Explore the seven acre site of houses that have been relocated and reconstructed along with newly constructed structures to recreate the pioneer life in this area. The LV Museum is open from 10am to 1.5 hours after the last tour of the day at Luray Caverns.
Luray Caverns - What will you discover?
In the caverns, you will find many stalactites and stalagmites of different sizes. Some of our most interesting stalagmites resemble Totem Poles. These clusters of formations have such an unusual form and texture due to their growth patterns.
