C. SHARPS FOUR BARREL DERRINGER: Sometimes called pepperbox derringers by collectors, these pocket pistols were manufactured from 1859 to 1874 in Philadelphia and incorporated a rotating firing pin in the hammer. Rimfire chamberings included .22, .30 and .32, but more than twenty model variations have been cataloged.
