Maria Dolina (1922-2010) Soviet pilot and acting Squadron Commander of the 125th “Marina M Raskova” Borisov Guards Dive Bomber Regiment. Active primarily on the first Baltic Front. She flew 72 sorties dropping 45,000kg of bombs. Her crew also shot down 3 enemy fighters. On 18 August 1945 she was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
