No to nuclear explosions in Kazakhstan
Artist: Arystan R. Location: Кokshetau City, Kazakhstan Age: 15 "There were such times, when there was a nuclear weapon test site in my country. Very many people suffered. I am happy, that the test site was closed and there is no longer a nuclear weapon in my country Kazakhstan. I want to live in the unarmed world."
This collaborative project between artist/filmmaker Shinpei Takeda and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs came about in order to highlight the danger of nuclear weapons and to recognize that this is human story with global dimensions. These are the stories of survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings who have migrated to the Americas. http://www.hiroshima-nagasaki.com
