Nijinsky II, son of Northern Dancer, won the English Triple Crown in 1970 with Lester Piggott riding. Though born in Canada, he earned his fame in Europe and became a prolific stallion to solidify his reputation as one of the greatest thoroughbreds ever. In 1970, a film was made on his life, "A Horse Called Nijinsky." He died at age 25 in 1992.
