Awesome bench

I built this bench 31 years ago.....geez, it's hard to believe! Anyway, it's made out of redwood, I love it and it has served me well. It can be taken apart into 3 pieces for easy moving. I just bought a house, (built in 1925), and I'm barely setup. I told my son that he'll be the next one to take this bench apart because I never intend to move again and fully intend to die with tools in my hands. I've loaded huge original files if you want to really see detail of all this.

German Designed Jewelers Bench

It is that time of year again, when the degree shows in Scotland all kick off. As usual, the roll is started by Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design - DJCAD for short. Regular readers of my blog will know that Dundee is my favourite Scottish city and has been for many, many years, so it is something of a surprise to realise that until last night, I had never been to the degree show there.
