Courtyards. Hidden, quiet corners in the back or side yard. Garden benches, intimate outdoor sitting. Potted plants, flowers and boxwood, my favorites! When royalty was receiving guests, they "held court". My next yard will be smaller then what I have now. I want a smaller, private yard, a place to have good conversation.
