Giuseppe Tentori on Instagram: "Ditch the fat (until the end) to get that delicous steakhouse sear. Salt n’ pepper your steak and place it on a preheated, dry cast iron pan for 3 minutes, flip and repeat. Once the 3 minutes is up, add butter and your favorite herbs to the pan and baste another 3 minutes. Remove from the pan and let the steak rest for 5 minutes to get to a proper medium rare. Dasha Spann | Easy Family Meals on Instagram: "juicy, tender STEAKS at home! No Steak sauce allowed or needed! 🥩 bring your steak to room temperature and pat dry. 🥩 season GENEROUSLY. I used a house rub which is made with a little salt, coarse black pepper, and garlic powder. 🥩 use a high heat oil (I use avocado oil). Once the pan and oil are HOT, start searing the steak on each side. I start with the fat cap and sear each side for about 45 seconds each. ❤️ once all sides are initially seared, lay the steak in your pan and add crushed garlic gloves and compound butter to the pan. Start basting the butter, flipping the steak every 1 minute. This will ensure it’s cooked evenly. After the first two flips, I add two stems of rosemary and continue to flip and baste a few more times.
Ashley McCrary on Instagram: "✨If you’re not reverse searing your steaks, you’re missing out! This method will give you a juicy steak and help reduce the risk of overcooking! ✨Reverse Searing✨ 1. Preheat oven to 275F 2.Allow the steaks to come to room temp. Generously season the steak front and back with coarse salt or seasoning of choice. ➡️TIP: I love using hickory smoked sea salt 3. Place the seasoned room temp steaks onto a rack along with a meat thermometer. Cook between 20-35 minutes depending on how you like it. I go for medium with an internal temp of 125F so about 20-25 minutes✨Here are internal temps: 105°F for rare, 115°F for medium-rare, 125°F for medium, or 135°F for medium-well ➡️TIP: 10 minutes before the steaks are done add in your cast iron skillet to the oven to get t
