Edwardian (1907) 9 Carat Ruby & Diamond Bangle

An ornate 9 carat gold, Edwardian bangle with what looks to be a star and thistle pattern. It has seen some wear and has taken some knocks (with dings) as a result but is still completely intact with no missing pieces or stones (please refer to images). There are a total of three small rubies with the largest being surrounded by a single row of diamond chips. One of our favourite features lies in the detailing where you can see very small millegrain patterns applied around the entire bangle. This will have all been done by hand! The bangle is clearly marked with a Chester assay stamp and a date stamp for 1907 which allows us to place it quite firmly in the Edwardian period, notwithstanding its clear style.
