This Rustic Industrial Farmhouse Floating Shelf with two flat steel J shaped iron brackets included with each shelf. This bracket is the newest in farmhouse flair. It sets neatly along the wall, and accents the warm solid pine wood shelf. The front lip holds the shelf securely. The stain is hand rubbed EARLY AMERICAN. If you want an alternative stain color, select that stain choice from the drop down menu. The rustic wood is lightly sanded. We use rustic pine wood from a Sustainable Forestry Initiative member. The brackets might have some hammered edged that emphases the rustic appeal to the product. They are heavy duty units that will support pots, pans, cookware, dinner plates, books, etc. If you want an extra center bracket on the longer shelf, please select "one matching bracket" on the bottom of the drop down menu. They are rated at 75 lbs per pair. The custom shelves that are deeper than 11.25" deep due not have a lip on the front of the shelf. They come from a different iron worker. Mounting screws and instructions are also included. We do not include anchors. Various depths and lengths are available. Please use the drop down menu to select the size you want. And please review our policies and FAQ's before purchasing. WOOD SIZES OFFERED: We offer 7.25", 9.25" and 11.25" deep shelves, with standard lengths varying from 24" to 60". The thickness of our wood is approximately 1 1/2". If you need a custom length that isn't listed on the "size" drop down menu, please contact us. We can custom cut shorter shelves that range from 12" to 24". Reach out to us and we can make you a custom listing for these super short shelves. WOOD CHARACTERISTICS: Certified Forestry Initiative member wood is used. It is solid lob lolly pine wood. We include complete description of the characteristics of our rustic wood in our shop FAQ's. The board might have helical head planer circles, bowing, warping, twisting, circular planing marks, mill marks, etc, that truly distinguish it as rustic wood. We hand rub two coats of stain. The rustic wood will have a flat matte finish, which adds to the warmth of the rustic, farmhouse, and industrial decor vibe. We don't apply a clear poly coat to our rustic wood, which yellows quickly. Our designer feels that a glossy shiny finish distracts from the warmth. We include some care guidelines with our installation packet. If you want more luster to the shelf, the premium furniture polish helps condition the wood. We also recommend beeswax for conditioning as a eco friendly alternative. MAXIMUM DEPTH AND LENGTH: The maximum depth that we can purchase is 11.25". The maximum length that we can ship is 72" long. If you need a longer shelf, please consider two shorter shelves, and mount them side by side. The extra-long shelves would need extra center brackets, so two shelves and four brackets look great. If you need super short shelves, to finish out your projects, we offer some short shelves, that we cut with our old saw. If you want a deeper shelf, we glue two boards together and offer a shelf up to 16" deep. Reach out to us to discuss. The deeper brackets do not have a lip on the front of the shelf. They are a different product. They are better suited to be mounted below the shelf. SHIPPING METHODS: We ship almost exclusively via UPS Ground. We cannot ship to PO Boxes; therefore, we need your street address. It is difficult to change shipping address after you enter the order, so please make sure that your profile address is up to date. We can't offer our free shipping program to AK, HI, PR or APO addresses. Please contact us and we can discuss the extra shipping charge to those locations. We don't ship to international locations currently. SHIPPING TIMETABLE: We are shipping our orders in just over one week currently. We usually can RUSH an order but contact us before you order. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation requests are limited to 24 hours after order entry. We start the order process the next day after order entry. Since we are a "made to order" shop, and don't maintain any inventory, once the order is in process, we can't accept cancellations. EXCHANGES and RETURNS: Exchanges are not offered for this product. Returns are accepted on many of our products per our posted time frame.
