The only cherry blossoms I got to see in Japan was this tree in Nagasaki 🫠 Cherry blossoms throughout Japan were predicted to reach peak bloom starting from mid-March to late March, but there was a cold snap that delayed the blooms into April. Nagasaki is a city on Japan’s Kyushu island, and is unfortunately one of the two locations the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on during WWII. It’s a hilly city that’s lesser known compared to its counterparts up north on Honshu, but also has lots to see...
