A man stands at window, watches a tree
thrusting its outline in the sunbeams
The sunrays roll down the leaves,
in all splendour.
He strives long to turn out
a leaf out of the gone by
agonisingly close the image of his
memories shatters again and again
within him
He stills his hands on a parapet,
lighted by daylight.
nice experience, I pictured the scene while reading this.loved it a good poem.keep it up! !
Your poem has this capacity of creating a picture or scenario or flow of evevnts infront of the eyes.......great :)
There is a lot of very good imagery. I had a very clear picture in my head while reading well done.
Wonderful poem. Great job, unveiling the sad reality of life - well communicated. May you continue. voted 10
The thought is clear, however, I am a different generation. I grew up to 15 age without a doctor, so I learned to find people who explains the sicknesses differently then a doctor. In this case the dementia comes when someone wants to forget some bad memory of his life, so he looses all, because do not want to face the world with what he did. The poem is well written.
