Happy 100th Birthday, Mom
Oh mom, if only I could talk to you
Put my arms around you tight
Light 100 candles on your cake
My goodness, what a lovely sight!
But, of course I cannot do that
For you have gone away
You have been with God awhile now
I know you just couldn't stay.
My thoughts go back so many years
As a small child in your care
You loved me, I know you did
So many lessons that you shared.
Happy Birthday my dear mother
In heaven there is a party for you
100 candles will be on the cake
Many family members will be there too!
