I never thought I'd see the day
Where my heart had become whole
Where laughter swiftly moves about
The corridors of my soul

Where happiness shines into the space
Where darkness normally sits
To hold your son inside your arms
And know an angels kiss

You have to be my heaven on earth
My angel in disguise
For only you have brought me through
The lonely shadows in my skies

You turned that rock, that stone cold heart
And carved the edges smooth
Coz in your love and in your eyes
There was nothing I had to prove

Your love for me was endless
Like the sun on horizons edge
Like stars that fill the night sky
And there's no limit to where it ends

So to you my boy, my love, my soul
My greatest gift on earth
Thank you son for coming down
And showing my life worth

My hearts so full it overflows
To everyone who is near
So I will love you to eternity
And it will never disappear
