My Paradise Poem by Rik Bertrand

I have found my true paradise,
Its vision is embedded in my Heart.
I look upon my beautiful, mystical paradise
And I know this is my life's new start.

So much beauty, so serene, so loving,
I am blessed to be in the presence of perfection
And with the moon shining down on the water,
I am blessed to see more exquisite features in its reflection

In the presence of such magnificent beauty,
My heart and soul have found peace.
I dread the thought of losing my love,
For my beating heart would cease.

This paradise that I have lovingly found,
It's not that that beach, waterfall or any physical place
It's that little spot I found in my soul,
That I store my saving grace.

It's the beauty in the one I love,
It's the touch, and our complete understanding
That we will always have each other,
Our love will always fly, and there will be no landing.
