Kayla Randall is an assistant editor at The Poynter Institute and an editorial specialist at NPR. She focuses on journalism ethics and standards and media literacy, and enjoys teaching workshops on writing and editing. Previously, she was the arts editor at Washington City Paper and a fact-checking editorial fellow at Washingtonian Magazine.
