Weird History Readers Share The Most Overrated Music Acts Of The '90s
If you didn't grow up in the ‘90s, we’re sorry. Sucks to suck, dude. It's not just the nostalgia we're talking when we say everything was better back then. The movies, the economy, the music… even food tasted better before the year 2000. There was a time when pigging out on that Pizza Hut buffet was absolutely everything. In the days when kale was still used as a garnish, rather than an actual main course. Now, it just doesn't hit the same. We're not saying things are terrible these days, but our love for the ‘90s is undying and pure. Even if some of the things we grew up loving were ridiculously overhyped, they still held a special place in our hearts. We asked Weird History readers to tell us who they think is the most overrated musical act of the ’90s, and their responses are sure to get some hard fans fired up. Milli Vanilli especially once people found out they were completely fake. All three (BSB, N'SYNC & 98°) popular boy bands of the late '90s were definitely overrated too.

Agreed. Musically underwhelming. They played underwhelming solos and powerchords to be ironic. Most famous songs were covers. He said whiney things and the youth thought it was cool. Cobain was a major bummer. I could go on all day.
