Though some sites write Bayou Nwa as Bayou NWA (capitalized as if an acronym), Nwa is not an acronym. The term bayou is thought to be originated from the Choctaw word bayuk and made its way to Louisiana French language, which means an extremely slow-moving stream of water or a marshy lake. The term nwa is a word from the Haitian Creole language based on 18th century French, which means dark. Ever since the original Red Dead Redemption was released back in 2010 and swiftly completed by Matt he has been eagerly anticipating another return to the Wild West. In Matt's totally non-biased opinion the story told in the sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, is one of the best ever (at least as far as games go). And while some story DLC would be great, Matt isn't counting on it!
