“Decent place to try out for hotpot. Affordable prices. Good to try out if u want skewers and hotpot into the same pot. Wish there was a variety of beef types to try. Also disappointed that this place doesn’t offer free dessert, it cost an additional fee for the ice cream.”
“Tiffany was really interesting!
I had planned to taste the wine, buy some ice wine, and then go home right away, but I had so much fun that I decided to drink it and go home! If I come to Vancouver again, I will buy ice wine here next time! I'll never forget this shop and Tiffany!!!!”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Moxies..Our server (Chantelle) was very personable and efficient. The entire staff was friendly and appeared to enjoy their job..Food great also!”

“Food was amazing. Meat is fresh and the desserts were amazing! But for an AYCE it is def on the pricier side but it’s understandable with the quality it provides”

“Uncle faiths pizza in Richmond is located on a bus only street... after typing their location in our GPS to pickup the ordered pizza, it led us to an abandoned parking lot. Called Uncle Faiths pizza to get the address to pickup the pizza, and typed it into our GPS. there was no mention about the street being a bus only street by my GPS or the pizza establishment. I turn down the street and am met by a police officer and a $124 ticket for turning down the street. no parking on the cross street before either, so assuming you need to park a few blocks away? Honest question, is uncle faiths working with VPD to ticket people? Entrapment?”

“We went yesterday to try out this venture and we were extremely happy, we sat in lounge wish we could get a dining room, but than we will miss the amazing and highly professional server Sandeep. Food was as expected top notch, but we have never seen such a wonderful service atleast in Vancouver. Attention to detail, menu knowledge , it looks like we know him since so long and everything was just on time. Thank you Sandeep for memorable experience. We will
Come back.”
“Daddy Grill is an exceptional spot for fresh, delicious food. The quality of every dish shines through with flavors that are both satisfying and memorable. Beyond the great food, their customer service is top-notch—attentive, friendly, and always ensuring that guests feel welcome. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or even solo, Daddy Grill offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect place for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal paired with excellent service!”
“I got the mango tea with sago. It was pretty good but I wish there was a 30% sugar level because I still found 50% a bit sweet.
I had never been here before so I asked ONE question about popular choices and received a snappy response (there was no other customer in there at the time).
3.5 stars for the whole experience but rounded to 4 because I’m sure the drinks can be good if you’re familiar with their menu.”
“I recently dined at SYU and had a great experience overall. The ambiance is like small Izakaya. Each dish was beautifully presented and Aburi sushi was fresh and delicious but a bit on the pricier side.
(I remembered one piece of Toro was $12) The squid dish was rich and creamy but a bit salty for my taste. Our server was very friendly!”
“If you love bold flavors and a good spice challenge, Curry Soup Garaku is the place to be! Their spice levels range from 1 to 40, making it perfect for everyone—from mild spice lovers to heat daredevils. I tried Level 30 (definitely not for the faint of heart!) and had to tap out after a few bites, but their lassi was a lifesaver. My partner finished Level 30 like a champ, though not without breaking a sweat!
I ended up switching to Level 5 and absolutely loved it—so flavorful and balanced. The curry soup is rich, comforting, and packed with delicious ingredients. They also have $1 chicken wings during happy hour, which are a great addition to the meal.
The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a fun date night or a casual hangout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something unique and exciting!”
“Good breakfast options. Their seafood platter however (dinner menu) seemed a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise, we have always been happy with the service and food.”

“This is probably the best McDonalds. I goes here every week and they are just great. Great tasting iced coffee that can’t get anywhere else, fast, extremely friendly staff. Please note that during week days, secondary school students eat lunches there, so it will get crowded.”

“I worked in McDonald’s Canada as shift manager from 2020 to 2023 in a different location and I can you that this store is definitely meet every standards of the McDonald’s.
My Mighty McMuffin was so good, when I worked at McDonald’s, the English muffins were usually left in the cabinet for so long but the one I got was perfectly cooked. The bacon was tasteful and the egg was properly cooked, which means the grill was properly clean.
The store was clean and the team was very friendly, shout out to the counter team to handle food and bag food properly. The coffee I ordered also met the standard of McDonald’s. If I were a GM or Owner of this property, I would absolutely give everyone in the opening team a praise for doing a very well done job.
I ordered a mighty McMuffin, a burrito and 2 coffee.
Great job guys”
“Dev is an incredibly service oriented person, we were super impressed by his attentiveness. Haven’t been to this location in years - and were pleasantly surprised by the changes. Its been renovated and staff was much friendlier than past experiences and the food was better cooked, less greasy. Very generous portions, I had a lot left over to bring some back home to my dog 😀
Thank you Dev and we will be back when we are in Richmond.”
“Good McDonald's location. the food quality is good and the service is good. Atmosphere. It's a McDonald's, not a fancy steakhouse, what would you expect. I'll be honest, only get McDonald's Lunch/Dinner menu, don't get breakfast. Just get breakfast at another place. Their specialty is burgers and fries, not muffins.
Kid-friendliness: There's a happy meal. I can't really say much else. There's toys in it (or a book if your THAT type of parent.)”
“I always go to Tim Hortons for coffee and have visited many locations over the past 20 years, so I’m used to their inconsistent service.
This time, though, I received fantastic service from Kiranpreet. I wanted to order half a dozen donuts, including a special one, and she helped me with my order. When I realized I couldn’t use my coupon, she kindly assisted me in redoing the transaction with a smile.
Kiranpreet is the first staff member I've met at Tim Hortons who understands that customers aren’t familiar with their policies and might accidentally order something that doesn’t work with a coupon. It would be great if more staff had this understanding.
This may seem like a small thing, but it’s been missing for a long time.
Thank you, Kiranpreet! You made my day.”
“Meilleur déjeuner que j'ai mangé! Wow! Le toast au procuitto et burrata, wow! 😍❤️ Le service est très rapide. Par contre, c'est très bruyant même pour un mardi midi.”

“Phenomenal food. Ordered the soba noodles soup, spicy salmon rolls, and some various tempura. Food all tasted very fresh. However, it is on the pricier end and the portions could be a little larger.
The service is great too! They check in on you just enough to make sure you are good but not so much as they do in most typical restaurants. Excellent ambience and experience overall.”

“Food court style Taiwanese takeout. Food was quite good, but had to wait 35minutes for my order. People ordering after me got their food, ate, and left before I received mine. Told it’s coming , I’m next , over and over. Line ups to order was also long. Been here before and usually ended up waiting and waiting.
Parking: Parking in the lot was very difficult, lots of parking available but even more cars waiting. Parkade is available but very tight turns.”
“Definitely a great place to hangout with friends and family. Very special place with all great staff, lots of special foods in their menu.
Vegetarian options: Lots of choices
Kid-friendliness: My kids love it there
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access at ground level door entrance”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“Kid-friendliness: Superb friendly excellent service and a calm relaxing family friendly atmosphere! My kid loves their sushi especially the cheese potato roll! Highly recommend the chicken curry don. Such generous servings too!! If you come hungry you’ll definitely leave substantially gastronomically appeased and happy!”
“i’ve only tried the shanghai fog so far but it was amazing!! I LOVE the jasmine tea in ice cream, it’s definitely a taste changer. the flavours are well balanced and not too sweet. unfortunately they don’t offer samples but i do recommend trying the shanghai fog, especially if you’re open to tasting slightly floral notes. can’t wait to try the other flavours!”
“Ajea Noodle (in Chinese means “Love your home” based on the Chinese character)
3700 No.3 Road, Richmond
Located at Yoahan Centre Food Court
I decided to check out the claypot rice at Ajea. We came on a weekday at 12 noon, there was a line up! And… the line up continued while we were eating there. So they make this Szechuan noodles that seems to be popular. I came for the claypot rice, despite the long line up, it moved quite fast. I placed my order for chicken & Chinese sausage claypot rice, I was told it was a 25 minutes wait.
After 25 mins, my order was ready! Came with a small container of special soya sauce for the claypot rice with soup & pickled veggies. I did ask for an extra soya sauce thinking the sauce may not be enough. Trust me, one sauce was enough.
The claypot rice met my expectation! I needed to just use one sauce as it was quite salty.
I like the burnt rice bottom, the burnt was just perfect for me. The chicken was nicely seasoned, tender & the Chinese sausage was a perfect match with the chicken. A wonderful meal… I now have a place to go for my claypot rice.
Cash Only, parking is plentiful”
“The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, the prices are reasonable, and it's easy to find a parking spot. The restaurant is not very large, and the serving speed is a bit slow. The tip setting is reasonable.
Parking: Shared parking lot for businesses in the commercial area”

“Always great food consistency. Been eating there since they were in Vancouver. Definitely a favourite with our family.”
“I never rated place five stars but this one absolutely earned it. I eat lamp chunk every where i go, Anar serves it in a very unique way with the spices and the whole combination. My only recommendation is to serve it with plain rice.
Big shoutout for the owner who showed Persian Hospitality and served tea to the whole team.
Thanks for the amazing experience. Will come again for sure :)

“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“美味的日本餐 服務周到”
“The private ktv room is very spacious. We enjoyed the food and our time here. Jenny the manager was very accommodating too. She will reach out to you when inquiring instantly. KTV rooms can be rented for $100 per hour and has every languages. It has YouTube connection. You get your own private washroom too!!”
“If you're looking for hidden gems of Shanghai cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. Don’t let the exterior, located next to a car repair shop, fool you. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding, offering authentic Jiangzhe-style dishes that you won’t want to miss. We've already been there twice in one week! Highly recommend it!”
“I ordered the truffle cream fettuccine and it was great, even though it was a take out the pasta wasn’t dry out and the truffle flavour was there with two pcs of shaved truffle on top 😋😋 so yummy and probably tastes even better at the restaurant!! Will def dine in next time!! Thanks again Kohei!!”

“I called ahead to reserve a bank of tables for a group I was bringing in. Chanez, the manager, was ever so helpful. Telling me it'll be done as asked; if I wanted I could call on the morning of, to check/confirm.
I showed up late after a few of my guests had already arrived. Chanez had seated them & provided them complimentary sides and drinks to occupy them until I showed up, when we all put in our orders, & I paid.
The service was the best part of this visit, but the food was in no way lacking. We each got a nice plate of chicken plus side(s) & drinks, & I ordered some of the unique sides they had (Cajun Cauliflower, deep-fried pickles) for sharing. Portions were very nice -- appropriate to the prices.
10/10 would return & recommend.
Wheelchair accessibility: I went in with a dozen of us in wheelchairs & Chanez, the manager, accommodated our entire group with tables together and removed the chairs to allow us to fit in.”
“This is my favorite weekly go-to place! Love their no-msg pho, grilled pork and chicken, stewed beef, etc. Their special homemade off-menu items always surprise me… seafood pho, chicken pho, shrimp dumplings, seafood spring rolls, etc. Got a chance to try their crab soup noodles today and it was amazingly tasty. It came with two huge crab cakes which were made with real crab meats and seasoned with dried shrimps. It was definitely the best crab soup noodles in town!”
“I have been visiting this store a few years. They are superb in providing decent home cooked food with very reasonable price and being very generous all the time.
You feel like they aren’t there to make money but to provide. Thanks for spreading the feeling of home!”
“If you are at Lansdowne Mall and you need a strong jolt of good coffee, then this is the place for you. In addition to your usual coffee, they also make frappes, macchiato and the like, with real espresso shots! A definite must have if you are doing marathon shopping around the mall!”
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”
“If I could give 6 star for 5 service, I would. The owner (I think Jimmy) was a really chill dude, kept asking if everything was good and what else we need. Food was delicious and it really gave me that APT PT feel.”
“the meat is premium and the price is very reasonable(with coupon)”

“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“almost
Most of the customers and staff are Chinese, and break time is until 5 o'clock. The staff are so kind. It takes a while for the food to come out and the Mara Xianggu is really awesome.. It's really delicious.”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”
“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“The food was great. Quality of materials always taste fresh.
Service was good. Friendly, gentle, with comfortable space.
Store is cozy and lovely, bathroom is clean.
Will keep coming back.”
“Great experience here. I ordered the poached peach granola bowl - the portion was huge, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Iced latte tasted burnt though. But most importantly, they are pet-friendly. My friend, her puppy, and I sat on the patio on a rainy October day. Their patio is covered and heated, which is great even in lousy weather.”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”

“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“Probably one of the most authentic Sichuan food you can find in Canada. If you are Chinese food beginners I would recommend their Mapo Tofu. Price is reasonable and stuffs are very friendly.”
“In a dying world of Social contact, this gem still has traditional Dim Sum cart Service. The food is excellent and the
Cheung fun, or cheong fun, are thin rice noodles wrapped around various delicious fillings. Food served at the Continental is traditional, authentic, Dim Sum. The Continental is a great place to experience the Dim Sum craze.
Specialty teas like Chrysanthemum or Jasmine and desserts like Egg tart are a treat.
A huge serving area, and a huge TV for media is there to appease Media fans for sports etc. The Continental is located on Cambie in the heart of Richmond, B.C.”
“Thai Box is our #1 dining destination every time we're in Richmond. The service is excellent and the food is authentic Thai. We'll keep going back so long as that doesn't change.”
“Everything was fantastic. Hadn't visited since the pandemic, and I was incredibly satisfied with the quality and service. The unagi nigiri and chutoro were the highlights of the meal, in addition to the chef's choice sashimi and nigiri plates. Sushi Hachi has been in my top 3 for 15+ years.”
“Lovely little Japanese place hidden away. Kind and friendly staff. Quick service. Clean kitchen and sesting area.
Hubby and I ordered 2 Asahi, 1 spicy salmon roll, and salmon oshi.
One negative would be the washrooms. They were clean but they looked very old. No hook to hang a jacket.”
“Really enjoyed lunch with the curry tendon on rice. Staff was friendly and had a very nice atmosphere. Pleasant Japanese music was playing in the background. Each table had a small traditional dish of pickled daikon. Yummy. Street side parking just outside”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“Delicious food and great attentive service. We had three children with us and they provided an activity for them and child friendly menu option as well. Would definitely recommend.
Kid-friendliness: We appreciated the extra touches the restaurant provided to make our dinner family friendly including a painting activity for the kids and a child specific menu option that included dessert.”
“Had the most exquisite dining experience at Masa! High end interior design. Fresh and high quality ingredients from Japan. Service was excellent. Chef and server were very attentive. Highly recommend!”
“Outstanding friendly service from the enthusiastic and attentive staff❣️Above & beyond food especially the lunch bento❣️”
“Delicious Indian food in Richmond.shahi paneer and methi chicken is authentic taste.”
“Immerse yourself in a culinary delight where freshness takes center stage. The ingredients used are sourced meticulously to ensure unrivaled quality, resulting in an extraordinary dining experience. The service provided is nothing short of exceptional, with attentive staff dedicated to making your time truly memorable. What sets this establishment apart is their commitment to regularly import seasonal seafood directly from Japan, delivering a tantalizing array of flavors that showcase the finest offerings from the sea. Prepare to be enchanted by the harmonious combination of fresh ingredients, impeccable service, and the exquisite taste of seasonal seafood delicacies transported all the way from Japan.”
“I’ve had friends that told me they use frozen fish here and I don’t know the legitimacy of that claim, but I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious to me. I am a texture type of person and I loved how tender the fish here was, it also tasted fine to me. The side dishes are not bad either and I would definitely come back.
The decor is really cute as well and I the theme of the whole restaurant, as well as the extra interactive toys that you can play with on the table.”
“I tried the set meal it offers. In terms of value for money, it’s pretty good. It’s definitely enough for one person, and the ingredients are okay. However, I chose the wrong pot base. The peppery pork belly pot base had too strong of a technological flavor... ...The artificial freshness makes the tongue numb...It makes everything cooked taste the same, and the soup is inedible because it is too fresh. If I had known better, I might as well have ordered a clear soup...I suggest the store give this soup more base Mix it with some water...it might be better...”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“I miss the Taiwanese hot pot very much. The service attitude of the store staff is very good and the food is delicious?I will definitely visit again next time I come to Vancouver from Seattle!”
“I went there with my one-year-old daughter, and the Korean female staff were very kind. It’s rare nowadays, but the portions were generous, reasonably priced, and delicious.”
“Hidden gem! Great food and friendly, efficient service. We ordered bibimbaps and it came with a lot of side dishes that we loved. I wish bibimbaps had a little more meat but overall it was totally worth it. Recommend 💯”
“recommended restaurant ever and food are so delicious and fantastic and excellent experience and ambiance. Will come back here this is one of my favorite ever”
“Good food good sauce good price overall good quality time spent with family of 3. Without a doubt, 1 of the best hot pot restaurants in the lower mainland. Price of vegetables dishes are half the price of other hot pot places”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“The most authentic and delicious Malaysian food we have had in the Pacific Northwest including Vancouver and Seattle ( we’re Malaysian ). Food made with love and it shows: fantastic satay, Hainanese chicken rice, and Chau kway teow plus homemade kuih. Absolutely worth repeat visits!”
“Fresh Sashimi with well-cooked rice is the Best combination ever ❤️
Salmon and Ika Nigiris are ma favorite one hihiru
ofc Please try crispy Tempura too Happeeeeeee?↕️”
“I found this is the best Chinese restaurant in Vancouver 👍👍👍”
“I had an amazing time, my waitress made my day! i think her name was kayri? the food was amazing but the service was EVEN BETTER! will be my new go to sushi place.”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“Great quality and great tasting food. Each dish we had tasted super fresh, not just reheated from frozen.
We got the shrimp wonton with crab sauce, salmon and uni chirashi bowl, and a lunch special that was like a bento box. All fresh, savory, and overall delicious.
Main caveat for those that want to try: the wait is a little long for food to come out. But we weren’t even hungry and still finished every last bite, so definitely well worth the wait.”
“Been twice now and both times the food has been amazing and very consistent the atmosphere is awesome highly recommend it’s very unique and different style of going out for dinner and well worth the experience”
“Came here for lunch around noon on a weekday and it wasn't busy. The patio is clean and comfortable. Our server was nice and attentive.
We ordered eggs benedict with garlic shrimp, and another benedict with fried chicken. The fried chicken is well battered and fried, and was juicy since it was dark meat. The garlic shrimp was good, but if I'm honest I was a bit disappointed by the small size of the shrimp and the eggs that were used.
They were generous with the roasted potatoes and our meals tasted good, but for the price point it felt a bit underwhelming and the overall portion size for the eggs benedicts themselves has left me less than enthused to try this cafe again.”
“Such a good a sushi place, been going here for awhile and love it, new staff member Jamie was so lovely to deal with, she made a mistake on our order by accident (it happens!) & fixed it right away she was very friendly and sweet hope to get her as our waitress next time we eat in! Thanks again for everything Jamie!”
“We love Carry Coffee’s great coffee and food. Unique atmosphere.”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“Okay y’all, life is all about: happiness = reality - expectations. Don’t expect too much in terms of cleanliness and service, that’s not the authentic Chinese experience. Think of it more as a hole-in-the-wall than a fancy restaurant. It’s clean enough and service is good enough.
Most importantly, the food is good enough. It’s actually very flavourful and tasty. It can err on the heavier side and it’s a bit oily for my taste, but I can see others really loving it for the same reason. I would still recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area, and I would probably come back for the wontons and pork chop. They are quite busy and popular, and the people running it are working hard. Just don’t expect too much and you’ll be pleasantly satisfied ☺️”
“Our group of eight came for lunch on a weekday early December 2023. This was our fourth time here in five years. Prices are reasonable and the venue is comfortable and open with many tables looking on to the greens and gardens. The young female server we had was delightful, charming and lovely (sorry didn't get her name). Our food came all together and was fresh, hot and each order was spot-on.Six of us opted for burgers -- one Meadows Loaded, one Black Bean Veggie, and four Wild Salmon which turned out to be Sockeye(?). The Salmon Burger afficionado in the group, the one who orders it anytime it's on the menu, said it was a very good Salmon Burger.Another ordered the Butter Chicken, his cleaned off plate was obvious testament to its respectability considering his South Asian roots. The last of our group had the Seafood Pasta which really impressed. The sockeye salmon, prawns and scallops were fresh, plentiful and perfectly cooked (not overcooked!!!). The whole dish was delicicous, perfectly seasoned, not heavy and not salty (thank you!).? The serving was too large to finish but the diner still raved about the meal when they polished off the remainder at home hours later. Kudos to the chef. ???Thank you Country Meadows for a very enjoyable, relaxing and excellent lunch! *****
Vegetarian options: The vegetarians in our group appreciated having vegetarian options on the menu.”
“Nothing beats a big, fragrant, and spicy pot of classic Sichuan Boiled Fish with Intestine on a cold, rainy day. The fish was fresh and snappy, the intestine pieces were juicy as well. The authentic, fiery flavour makes you forget all about the wet, damp weather outside. Their signature dessert of Cold Sweet Rice Cake is heavenly. Covered in a delectable sweet syrup, the rice cake is smooth and creamy. Overall, their food is on the pricey side, but it was delicious. I really appreciate the restaurant for opening late during the holidays as well. Parking is free on premise.”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“This is my favourite restaurant. Dim sum is excellent with loads of variety. The dinner menu also has wonderful dishes. The beef with wasabi is a particular favourite of mine. Food aside, the staff is very attentive and ever so friendly. The owner is very nice as is Sandi who will greet you at the door, so are Eddie, Gary & Ian to name but a few.”
“Amazing little hole in the wall that should be on "You Gotta Eat Here" or Triple Ds. Freaking AWESOME food! I went with my husband, son, and his buddy. We all loved every bite. I am a chef and find it difficult to enjoy meals in many restaurants but this one-man show is the real deal. It's hard work. If you are looking for a romantic posh quaint cafe where you will be gushed over by the staff, this isn't the place for you. If you want genuine home made excellent fresh food that you will never forget than give it a shot. Be prepared to wait. The gentleman who owns it also is the chef, host, server, and cashier. A genuine character. Every meal is made to order and well worth the wait. Not recommended for vegan.”
“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..”
“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?”

“Good food, friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. I highly recommend this place.”

“Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”

“Our servicer on the 13th of October , Mr Nick Thiessen was amazing…..he was so personable..the atmosphere was great other than the hockey teams that were there and the coaches/parents that were letting the kids run a’amuck” . We will definitely be back because of Nick! We were on our “Anniversary trip to Nashville” Cathy and Mike and Ellie and Clint.”
“Food was FANTASTIC. I honestly expected nothing less of the place and it met my every expectation food-wise.
The service was alright, they do a device ordering style. Which can be confusing for some people so watch out for that, my family personally found it easy to navigate so we didn't have much trouble with it.
The only big complaint I had was the wait time. It was a weekend, however we were told that we'd be seated after 15 minutes, when reality was that we waited for A NEAR HOUR.
Oh well.
Still would come again! 😛”
“A very satisfying dining experience. I got a small gift with the correct password. Thank you very much Vicky for her attentive and considerate service. Like it. I will definitely come again.”
