“The service is horrible. Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.”

“Went there for the bogo lunch deal. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was great. Huge pieces of chicken. My boyfriend’s spaghetti with meatballs looked great. First time at this location we will be back!”

“I've driven by this place at least 100+ times in the past year. I always thought it was Brazilian Steakhouse or something, but saw than I saw on google it was more classical pub food and decided to stop by on lunch to get a burger and it was better than expected. The Bar area is kind of small, has an overall "Diner" feel to it, with an open view of the kitchen. Overall the food was good, the wedge fries were good, same with the burger sauce.”

“It's an interesting concept. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining how/what to order and how long to cook things. Instead of cooking in oil, you choose your broth (i.e. chicken or pork based). You order protein and some veggies off the menu, and others veggies are available at the self-serve food bar. Also available are lots of spices and sauces to flavor your food. A fun robot delivers your raw food. You place your food in the hot broth and it cooks up fairly quickly. The shrimp and imitation crab were excellent. Pot stickers were very large and tasty. Our friends liked the tofu and chicken. The paper-thin beef and pork were very fatty and, after cooking, there was very little meat to eat. A few starch options are available (i.e. Udon noodles). We thought it was a bit pricey, but it was all-you-can-eat. Afterward, it's fun shopping in the Asian mall, and especially the main level Asian grocery store.”

“My family comes here weekly. My Chinese father, who is very particular about his Chinese food, loves this place. The food is delicious, and the staff here are always kind, welcoming, and very attentive! I highly recommend this place.”

The menu offered a wide range of options, including steak, chicken, different types of fish, and vegetables, all prepared fresh on the hibachi grill. The portions were generous, and we had sides of fried rice, miso soup, and a salad. “Loved the all you can eat option. I tasted what felt like everything. In reality it was only like 5 orders of different things. Everything is made to order and fresh. I had the chicken wings, chicken teryiaki. Dumplings, snow mountain rolls, california roll, tempura rolls, and volcano rolls. It was worth the money. You cant take leftovers so go ready to eat. Its clean and service is fast.”

“I tried an original hot dog and a potato mozza. They were both excellent! I recommend topping the original hot dog with a little hot sauce and some cheese powder, then dipping it into the jalapeno ranch sauce. The potato mozza is best covered in sweet chili sauce. My wife enjoyed the mozza and cheddar without any sauces or toppings.”

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. “I just stopped for my usual mocha - no food. The barista was nice, but since the store was nearly empty that time of day (early evening), I had to sort of call out to get someone from the back room. Once she was at the counter, she did a fine job and my mocha was good and just as I’d ordered (dark chocolate & extra hot).”

“I had to make this a 2 days in a row event as I got the burger on the first day followed by pho on the 2nd day.

Honestly, I was just surprised to see pho on the menu in a SW metro mall.

For 10.75 in 2024, this small bowl of pho was not a bad deal. Broth was flavorful, smaller than expected quantity of meat, but still good enough to quench your pho cravings.

Now, onto the burger and fries. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The price tag was under 20 which is good for 2024 standards. The Patty was a bit plain, but palatable. The winner for this meal are the fries. It is nice and crisp with possibly a light coat of batter.

Overall, not the best burger ever, but still very good and a Surprise oddball pho on the menu that was decent for mall food.”

“I used to come here in the mid 1990s and it was wonderful then.In the past few years I have started coming back and it’s every bit is good as before. The person who wrote the review and said it has gone downhill in recent years is totally wrong. I love their beef and potatoes and spicy chicken and it’s just as good as it always was. The portions are absolutely huge. You will not go away, hungry . The prices are reasonable and they are very friendly. This remains a real gem.”

There are no signs for anything indicating you're even in the right place so I'm guessing they do a lot of delivery and not so much pick up. Keep in mind, you have to order online because you cannot order these from Old Chicago in person.I'm not sure though ordering system is very accurate either. I chose immediate pickup and it said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes, which it was. However the doordash said it was going to be ready in about an hour.Service was slow inside waiting at the host stand to talk to someone both of the times I walked in. To add to the confusion there isn't even any signage about Twisted Tenders anywhere.”
