The beekeeper was nice. A little sweet from the honey but not overpowering. I preferred it closer to room temperature than right out of the oven.but thats my preference

“I want like to take the opportunity to say that I love the customer service at loose end brewery. I was honored to take part in their plants and beer series and Tim was a great server. he took the time to talk to me and take my order since I was vending I didn't have the opportunity to step away and order food and drinks and Tim took the time to come over and take our order . Tim is pleasant to talk to and I would recommend anyone who goes there to eat to try their bourbon ice cream. It is amazing. also, if Tim is your server, you are in for a great experience that make want to come and ask Tim by name to be your server. “First time here 8/18/24. My son and his wife brought us here for my birthday. Food was awesome. The atmosphere…eh. My husband said it looked like no one could decide on what decor to go with. LoL. I had the The Happy Pappy taco. It had Carnitas, bacon that had some sweet bbq on it, rice and a ton of good things on it. Best taco I have ever eaten!! My husbands birthday is next month. He is a taco freak…guess where I’m taking him? Can’t wait to come back.”

“I went into the Centerville location on a Thursday to order 2 pies for the following Saturday, and paid for them. The following Saturday my son stopped by to pick them up and they didn't have my order. They made the 2 pies right then. Because I needed them for that day the pies were runny. I emailed corporate about this and never received a response. They lost me as a customer.”

“My choice for Mother’s Day was to go to the Centerville location today for dessert. There were only two young workers there and a huge crowd. These two were fantastic! I did not get their names but it was whoever was working around 5:30pm. They gave us moms wonderful and kind service. And I’m sure they have their own mammas at home that they could have been with instead of working. So thank you to them both!”

“I came in last night with two of my friends and it was so much fun. The food and drinks were amazing. I wanted to ask if it’s normal for the servers to completely rush tables to leave, though? We were eating, finished our drinks, were never asked if we’d like another drink, and they began clearing plates and stuff off of our table non stop. We were trying to hangout and talk, enjoy the environment and every 2 minutes an employee was interrupting to grab stuff from us, asking over and over if we’d already paid etc… Like I said it was absolutely amazing but we felt as if we weren’t welcome to stay because we were being rushed by multiple workers.”

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. Patrick waited on us and he did an absolute wonderful job. Our food was delivered timely and it was so great. Thank you Patrick and staff for a job well done.”

(Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).”

“Years ago I came here and was not a fan. Decided to give the place another go and it did not disappoint!! By far some of the best poutine I’ve ever had. Also a big fan of the southern comfort foxy fries (I actually dreamt about getting them again). Truly could not choose a favorite between the two. My boyfriend and I have gone twice this week it is so good. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich which the meat and bbq sauce were terrific, my only complaint is that it could’ve had a little more meat on it. We also had the wings which were well seasoned and the sauce on the side complimented them well. We already want to come back and try the smash burger and other items on this menu. Very excited to add Lock 27 into our restaurant rotation.

*update as we now come here once a week. The classic smash burger is out of this world, we have to order atleast one when we come. Also tried the blue cheese chicken sandwich (swapped BC for Swiss though) and it did not disappoint. The slaw was a little too wet but the chicken was crispy and not too thick. The poutine has been consistently amazing. This fall they had my personal favorite HVO blackberry bliss on tap and then rotated to a similar berry cider that might have turned into my *new* favorite drink. Also had a berry cocktail (name?) since my original review and it was good. They can’t serve liquor on sundays though.”

“Came here to write a review about how pleasantly surprised I was at this McDonald's. We stopped on a road trip and found the restaurant clean and well maintained. The best part was that I ordered an iced coffee and asked if they could make it decaf. At first they said no because there was only hot decaf, but a few minutes later, an employee came to my table with a cup of iced decaf and said she had cooled it down for me. The coffee was perfect, but she offered at least twice to remake it for me if it wasn't. The service here was so wonderful!”
