“I believe legal advice should be given plainly, promptly, and efficiently.”

Jon Gruber joined the firm as a partner in 1979. In fact, he continues to work with some of the same clients who followed him to the firm at that time. The loyalty of his clients is a testament to his unique personal approach and extensive legal knowledge. His genuine understanding and concern for his clients extends far beyond their legal issues, taking into consideration their overall success and wellbeing.

From a simple will to more complex estate planning involving trusts, with his experience in estate planning, Jon counsels a wide range of clients in every stage of life. Whether they are young families concerned with protecting their children’s interests, or individuals and couples who find it necessary to update their estate planning documents, Jon’s clients know that he will provide the sound advice and thoughtful guidance they require. In addition, he works closely with family-owned businesses and closely held corporations to assist with succession planning. Jon’s years of experience in estate planning allows him to offer clients unique approaches to estate tax planning, asset protection and the peace of mind that their estate will be handled as they intend.

Jon is especially sensitive to the myriad of issues that arise in the administration of estates. He works extensively in estate administration and in matters of probate and non-probate asset transfer. Importantly, he strives to maintain family harmony while ensuring the wishes of the decedents are carried out exactly as intended.
