Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be "checking out" into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult-film star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the "Radio Demon" reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality.

Evan B While the pacing is an issue in general and Val is a strong contender for most absolutely detestable character of all time, the songs are fantastic, the acting is great, and the main characters and animation is charming and hilarious. My favorite episode is Masquerade, which is also the hardest one to watch due to Angel’s constant torment throughout. Also, #Alastor. SPOILER: In the show, it implied that Valentino sexually abused Angel Dust regularly. It is shown in a dark, intense, and gritty tone in the song “Poison.” In another episode, Sir Pentious was dragged into a room at a nightclub where it is implied he got raped. This time, it was shown in a humerous and non-serious tone and as a joke. This shows the many writing flaws in Hazbin Hotel and I hope they are fixed in season two.
