This comedy-drama is inspired by Norman Lear's 1975 series of the same name. This time around, the series follows the life of Penelope, a newly single Army veteran, and her Cuban-American family, as they navigate the ups and downs of life. Now a nurse, Penelope is raising two strong-willed children. When faced with challenges, Penelope turns to her "old-school" mother, and her building manager, who has become an invaluable confidant. The series offers a contemporary take on what life looks like in both good and bad times, and how loved ones can help make it all worthwhile.

Anna K I continue to love this show. :) The characters feel so real and watching them working through their issues and struggles is very uplifting. ODAAT continues to send a very positive message in a fun and witty way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review Black B Para mi está fue la temporada que mas me a gustado hasta ahora, lo mejor de la serie es la abuelita y aquí demuestran el peso emocional que puede llevar ella en toda la serie, pero no me sigue divirtiendo la serie, pues que sea un humor muy estadounidense y ese sea el motivo por el cual no me llega a convencer la serie pero aun así no me llego a encariñar por completo con los personajes la única excepción a esto es con la abuelita y Schneider, ya que nos muestras sus mejores fases de personaje aquí, abuelita con su casi despedida y Schneider con sus problemas parentales y su recaída con las drogas que nos muestran una nueva cara de el que me encanto, no podría decir que está bien la temporada porque no es que me haya gustado o mínimo divertido un poco pero aun así creo que hay uno que otro episodio aquí que vale la pena ver.
