Furniture from the set of the Oscar-nominated movie The Banshees of Inisherin forms part of a sale at Adams in Dublin next week.
The auction entitled Irish Vernacular includes traditional country-made furniture, pottery and collectables.
Items from the film include a large, red-painted 19th century pine dresser, with an estimate of €3,000, a 19th century painted pine settle bed, with an estimate of €1,200, and a 19th century green painted pine settle press that transforms from a cupboard into a double bed, with an estimate of €1,500.

Other items from the film include a merchant steps, a dowry chest, stools, as well as paintings and crockery.
Irish vernacular design is characterised by a strong connection to the land and the local environment, as well as a practical approach to design that prioritises function over form.

Bright or rich colours were often used, and many of the pieces in the auction are painted in strong tones of blue, brown, red and green.
Also included in the sale are collectables, including an Irish Penal Cross dating from the 18th century and is made from a single piece of yew wood.
The auction takes place live on Wednesday 12 April with viewing over four days, beginning on Friday.
