'Gavin & Stacey' is reportedly set to return for a one-off special next Christmas.
According to reports, Ruth Jones, who co-wrote the series with James Corden, confirmed that the characters would be returning in a special of the BBC show.
She told fans in Wales: "It looks like there will be a 'Gavin & Stacey' special some time in the future."
"It will show how things worked out for Gavin and Stacey - and for Nessa and Smithy."
According to The Sun, a source said: "There are no plans for a new series but talks about a one-off special - perhaps for Christmas next year - are well under way."
