Ryan Moore will partner plunge horse Giovanni Canaletto in the Investec Derby at Epsom on Saturday.
Aidan O'Brien's colt has been the subject of strong support for the premier Classic and will now have the assistance of a world-class jockey.
Giovanni Canaletto, who finished second on his seasonal bow in a Group Three at the Curragh on 24 May, is a top-price 8-1 for the Derby.
Coolmore tweeted that Joseph O'Brien will ride stablemate Kilimanjaro, while Hans Holbein is the mount of Seamie Heffernan.
Moore has also been given the go-ahead to ride the O'Brien-trained Tapestry in the Investec Coronation Cup.
Coolmore also firmed up plans for the Investec Oaks.
Joseph O'Brien gets the leg-up on Together Forever, with Heffernan on Diamondsandrubies and Colm O'Donoghue on Qualify.
Fellow Coolmore filly Legatissimo, trained by David Wachman, is also set to run in the Oaks after she claimed the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in the hands of Moore.
